Suitcase Supplies

Partnerships support increased access, build capacity and bring resources into spaces that might not have the ability to do education, screening or treatment for hepatitis C.

Wikwemikong First Nation collaborated with Reseau Access network in Sudbury to provide a pop up awareness and screening access point in an accessible support service location. The team showed up with a hard-sided suitcase style box on wheels with all the supplies and resources to create a relational space for sharing information and doing point of care (POC) finger poke testing with options for  linkage to treatment.

Sometimes a perceived barrier to engaging in work around hepatitis C is feeling like there is a lot of supplies or education or infrastructure needed to do anything. But remember there are supports across the province that can help you succeed, in small or large ways. Reach out and we can connect you to the wheels to gain momentum!
