Liver Cafe

For Indigenous Hep C Awareness Month in March, we hosted a "Liver Cafe". We played awareness-raising board games, made our own colouring pages and word scrambles, and offered testing to people who were interested. In the future, we are excited to host a Testing and Tacos event.  In addition, we plan to bring awareness to the  Canadian Viral hepatitis Elimination Day on May 11th. What if we flipped this concept and focused on gathering to share knowledge and wisdom in relation to liver wellness instead of liver disease?

Moose Stew for Liver Wellness

Nutrition is both an important way to support liver wellness, as well as a great opportunity to share facts about how the liver stores vitamins and minerals, supports digestion and the immune system and filters everything we eat, drink, breath or come across in our environment.
